Have you ever asked, “Where do I get the answer to my question?” Well, depending on your question or need, there are many resources available to help you! Work your way through this list of options, in order, and you will find your way to an answer!
Local PTAs – First, go to the committee chairperson or executive officer, if applicable, to receive answers. If not helpful, then go to the next stop, the WA PTA website.
WA State PTA WEBSITE – The state website has a ton of helpful information and ideas. The leadership section is password protected, but available for ALL paid PTA members. To receive the password, contact your local president or email your council president.
Renton PTA Council – Each local PTA has a designated council vice president who is responsible to support you. You may also contact the council president. Who’s your VP? CLICK HERE to find out! Your council president can be reached HERE. If that doesn’t provide you what you need, your next stop is:
Region 9 Service Delivery Team* – Part of your Region 9 Service Delivery Team is Michele Skinner (council president) and Nakisa Salashoor (council VP). Find their information under the “About Us” tab. Within the Service Delivery team there are multiple resources for you, such as finance, membership, Family Engagement, legislative, and other chairs to support you at a higher level.

Region 9 Director – Your Region 9 Director is Kandy Schendel and she can be reached via email at email@example.com. Region 9 director works closely with the Area C Vice President and state PTA board of directors.
